Muskegon Central Dispatch 9-1-1 is very committed to educating our youth about the importance of the 9-1-1 process. We attend several annual events including Fire Prevention Open Houses, Community Safety Days, and Youth Days to help kids become comfortable using 9-1-1 and make them aware of how 9-1-1 is properly used. MCD also works closely with the City of Muskegon Citizen’s Police Academy, MAISD Tech Center, Fire Science, and Criminal Justice Programs at local colleges.
Muskegon Central Dispatch 9-1-1 diligently works to educate our citizens. Public education is an extremely important aspect in Public Safety, and proactive citizen contact improves our service to the community.
